The Buyer acknowledges that this transaction may be taxable
under the Excise Tax Act and the Quebec Sales Tax Act. The
Buyer will have two options: (1) Pay the GST and QST on the
date of the transaction, or (2) if the Buyer is registered
for GST/QST, they may avail themselves of the exception
provided for in subsection 221(2) of the Excise Tax Act and
that provided for in section 423 of the Quebec Sales Tax
Act, to execute a certificate in the prescribed form, which
will also include the Buyer's GST and QST registration
numbers, and which they undertake to provide upon receipt
of acceptance of this offer to purchase.
